He is also the co-founder of Gratitude Railroad, an impact investment organization focused on catalyzing positive social and environmental change through investments in companies (or funds that invest in such companies) whose product or service directly benefits livings things or the planet. Gratitude Railroad operates under the belief that non-concessionary capitalism, practiced in a conscious manner, is the most powerful and viable force to achieve a sustainable and durable results.
In addition to his impact leadership role at GRR, Mr. Fischer is on the investment committee at The Builders Fund (impact p/e), the advisory board at Atlas Impact Partners (impact long/short), the investors committee at Terviva (plant protein from Pongamia trees) and on the board of directors at DoneGood (shopping platform for ethical and sustainable products).
He holds a B.S.E. in Accounting and Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was a fellow and senior fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University.
